We
were very excited and pleased
to work with Sherry on the
design of our new garden.
When we moved in, we had
to rip out huge overgrown
cedars surrounding our home
and totally re-grade the
whole property due to poor
drainage. We were gutting
the house on the inside
and the outside, and the
last thing we wanted was
more work! We asked Sherry
to help us design a low
maintenance garden with
drought-tolerant shrubs
and perennials that provide
as much colour as possible.
Our home is a ranch style,
which means we have a longer
garden to go around, and
we were not up to planting
annuals every spring, let
alone watering them constantly.
We
were only a little nervous
with the final plan as
we had seen examples of
Sherry's work and were
very impressed with her
fresh ideas. Due to the
amount of planting to
go in around the house,
we purchased very young
plants. It looked a little
sparse, but Sherry assured
us that the design was
based on how the garden
would look when it was
mature. Needless to say,
it has now grown in, and
it definitely has Wow-factor!
We absolutely love it!
This spring, everything
had filled in and there
were blooms everywhere!
Sherry has the artistic
foresight and vision we
were only able to dream
about but were unable
to create. She takes great
care and time in making
sure the measurements
are perfect and no mistakes
are made. We felt very
comfortable working with
her and never felt pressured
to go along with any ideas
that we didn't feel were
what we really wanted.
Sherry also followed up
after the design was completed,
and gave advice on the
proper care and pruning
of any plants we were
unsure of. Her service
is top of the line and
we highly recommend her
to anyone interested in
having a garden that stands
out and is outstanding
in design!
